The relevance of value perception in understanding customer behavior is crucial for business success. Consumers are becoming pickier, looking for products that reflect their believes, lifestyle, and goals. Businesses that understand the importance of creating a favorable perception of value can thereby differentiate themselves in the market, increasing customer satisfaction and ultimately transcending the constraints of transactional relationships.

The categories are: Social, Personal, Performance and Technical.
